From Childhood Ishan Kishan was very interested in cricket .He like playing and watching cricket. Ishan Kishan Complete his early education from Delhi Public School, Patna in Bihar. After Completing school Ishan Kishan went to Commerce College Patna for education. His brother noticed his talent and encouraged him for play cricket and focus on the cricket. After this Ishan joined a cricket club and started playing cricket on the advice of his brother.

- In September 2021, Ishan was named in India’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup but he did not got chance for play .

- In 2016-17 Raji Trophy, he smashed 273 runs against Delhi. This is the highest score by a player for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy.
- On 14 March 2021, he became the second Indian cricketer after Ajinkya Rahane to score a fifty in an international debut match; he scored a fifty against England in the 2nd T20 match.
- At the age of 24 years Kishan becomes the fastest player to score a double Hundred in an ODI in December during India’s tour of Bangladesh.He scored 210 runs from 131 balls, reaching the 200-run mark in just 126 deliveries and beat Chris Gayle’s record of 138 balls
- Ishan is the first player who convert a maiden ODI Hundred into a double Hundred, and he is the fourth Indian player to score a double Hundred in an ODI after Sachin Tendulkar, V Sehwag, and Rohit Sharma.

Kishan was first time bought by Gujarat Lions in 2016 . He was bought for Rs 35 lakhs by the Gujrat Lions. after two seasons, Ishan Kishan played 16 games and scored only 319 runs
In 2018, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians INR 5.5 crore . Ishan, played 14 games in 2018 and seven games in 2019, scoring just 101 runs with an average of 16.83. The 2020 season is expected to be a tough season for him. After this IPL Ishan Kishan was retained by Mumbai Indians in INR 6.20 crore. Retained in 2023 by Mumbai Indians in INR 15.25 crore.
